Founded by an ex-Googler, Ideas2IT started its journey as a high-end product engineering partner for Silicon Valley startups. We honed our skills in solutioning, cutting-edge technology and go-to market strategies with them. As we grew, we added competencies in process, engagement model and delivery to work with enterprises. We are proud to be part of delivering.
We started out in a small apartment converted into a makeshift office, working on a couple of projects for Silicon Valley startups.
We got our first few projects, and managed to close a deal with Microsoft for infrastructure management.
We work on super exciting tech and get to rub shoulders with some inspiring people, all the while looking for some big accounts to close.
Our successes with large companies such as Microsoft and Ericsson spurred us on to roll out our own products. A lot of the groundwork for the product thinking we have now was laid then.
As our products picked up speed, so did our employee count. We had to add a second office to cope with our growth.
We'd only been addressing one market thus far - USA. We decided to expand geographically, again having to hire aggressively to cope. We also launched our Data Science practice.
As we grew and got more comfortable with our place in the tech value chain, we consolidated both employees and our client list, and getting involved in newer, more ambitious tech. This is also the time we launched our blockchain practice, by partnering with a Washington D.C based blockchain company.
Third office added. Things were finally taking off!
Our clients love us, our competitors are wary of us and developers in the city want to work for us. We move into a consolidated, much bigger office premise.
Hiring skyrockets as our Data Science practice really takes off. We add Stanford grads and other Ivy League grads to the team, and work on some super sexy projects.
We're still growing. Our Data Science practice is over 30 strong, our Blockchain practice is over 15 strong, and our projects just get better and better. We're excited for the future!
Cutting Edge Technology
We consider these values and capabilities as Four Pillars that have kept us ahead of the curve, whether we look at technological expertise or customer happiness. By actively nurturing these values, we ensure that we anticipate the future instead of chasing after it.
Instead of passively waiting for customers to specify requirements, we proactively bring ideas to the table. We can take a client’s high level vision and turn it into a turn key solution. For example, we leveraged historical CRM data to help a 100 billion dollar manufacturer’s channel partners sell better. We also actively identify and invest in solution accelerators and frameworks that reduce cost and expedite client delivery. Eg: Intelligent Data Acquisition, Microservices starter kit, IOT mobile etc.
We have a proven track record of identifying emerging technologies and develop competencies and apply it for our customers ahead of others. Eg: Machine Learning, Blockchain. 30% of our work still comes from Valley startups which helps us with this.
Having started our journey with startups (and later taking our own products to market), we bring a co-founder like mentality to the engagement. We like to think of us as partners with equal stake rather than service providers. For example, a Hackathon that we did a few months ago led to developing a Chatbot for HR, that intelligently gets employee timesheets and automates a lot of manual grunt work.
We take pride in staying ahead of the curve through workshops, talks and hackathons, which helps us bring thought leadership in technology, process and engagement. Eg: We continuously develop thought leadership on processes that can accelerate productivity. For instance, last year we championed CI/CD best practices to implement key concepts like:
• Infrastructure as code (using tools like LambdaCD)
• Stack-independent deployment
These initiatives cut down Dev complete to production release times by upto 20%.
