Approach
Our approach to your project is defined by these criteria.
Business Goals: A product is only successful if your business goals are met. We consider this our guiding beacon in every project.
Market: We try to understand your business and the marketplace. We also look at the existing solutions available and look at what your direct and indirect competitors are doing.
Target Audience: Successful products connect with their target audience. We use user research and persona generation to understand your user’s motivations, needs and behavior.
Our Process
We are very hands-on and will guide you through the various stages of the design process. From concept to execution, you will get to see your product take shape.
Step 1 – Planning and Ideation: We pin down what motivates your users and what their pain points are. We create user personas.
Step 2 – UX Design: Next, we define the user flows & wireframes, rapid iterations leading to an ideal solution.
Step 3 – UI Design: Once the product experience takes shape, we design an interface based on the wireframes and flows to create a memorable first impression.
Step 4 –Â User Testing: Lastly, we test the usability of the product through observation and analytics. We prepare reports to see where the product can be improved.
Design Sprints
Conceive and prototype critical product ideas in just 5 days
The design sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers.
We will work closely with your stakeholders, design and development teams and all major players in the project. It has the best ideas of business strategy, innovation, behavior science, design thinking, and more condensed into a battle-tested process for you.
The 5-day design sprint week
Monday
We participate in ‘structured discussions’ that will help all of us develop an approach for the rest of the week. We then map out challenges, get data and information from relevant business units, and hone in on an ‘ambitious but manageable piece’ of the problem that one can solve in a week.
Tuesday
We understand the problem and narrow in on a target for the sprint. Once done, we review existing ideas so they can be improved and built upon, emphasizing critical thinking over artistry. This time is also utilized to recruit customers or end-users to test the prototypes on Friday.
Wednesday
We establish the list of potential solutions for the challenge at hand. We critique each solution and determine which ideas have the best chance of succeeding. Then, we create a step-by-step storyboard for your final prototype.
Thursday
We create a prototype by focusing on the customer-facing surface of your product or service. Before the last day, we confirm the testing schedule, review your prototype and finish an interview script for the final phase.
Friday
Lastly, we test the prototype on the customers or end-users you recruited on Tuesday. We let them use the product, watch their experience and interview them. By the end of the testing phase, we will help you understand what works, what needs to change and how to make your product or service successful.
