Building the AI-Native Healthcare Integration Platform That Unified ArcheHealth's Fragmented Operations Across ERP, SCM, and HRM
ArcheHealth's clients ran on disconnected ERP, SCM, and HRM systems with no unified data layer, no process visibility, and no way to apply predictive intelligence at scale. Ideas2IT built the multi-tenant AI-native integration platform that changed that: a Databricks-backed data pipeline, BusinessOptix process mining, and Domo BI delivering actionable operations intelligence to teams with no data science background.

01 Challenge
Healthcare operators were running procurement, supply chain, and workforce operations across siloed ERP, SCM, and HRM systems with no unified view of what was actually happening. Supply chain decisions were made on stale data, procurement cycles were slow and opaque, and process inefficiencies were invisible until they became expensive. The platform had to handle sensitive health system data across multiple tenants, meet HIPAA compliance at every layer, and be operable by business teams without engineering support.
02 Solution
Ideas2IT built a multi-tenant, event-driven integration platform on AWS that ingests data from ERP, SCM, and HRM systems, runs business process mining through BusinessOptix, applies AI and ML models to surface procurement and supply chain intelligence, and delivers it all through a near real-time DOMO dashboard. The platform was built modular from day one so supply chain optimization, workforce management, and procurement workflows could each scale independently as new health systems onboard.
03 Outcome
Procurement cycle times dropped 35%. Supply chain reporting that previously took days runs in near real time. Manual reconciliation across procurement and supply chain workflows fell 40%. Texas Health Resources went live as the first customer on a platform built to scale across the US health system market.
Phase 01
Building a multi-tenant, HIPAA-compliant data platform for healthcare operations
Foundation and Data Architecture
The first problem was scope. DeVero's codebase was large, test coverage was low, and every customer ran their own application stack. A big-bang rewrite would have broken the business. Ideas2IT designed a phased migration that kept the platform live throughout. The first problem was ingestion at scale across disconnected systems. Every health system runs a different ERP, a different SCM, a different HRM, and none of them produce data in the same format. Ideas2IT built an event-driven pipeline that handles all of it without breaking compliance.
- Multi-tenant architecture with isolated schemas per customer, ensuring data security and scalability as new health systems onboard
- Event-driven ingestion pipeline routing customer data through AWS Lambda into PostgreSQL via Databricks, with S3 as the core storage layer
- AWS KMS encryption, IAM access controls, and a full data governance and catalogue layer maintaining HIPAA compliance across all tenants
This phase produced
- Multi-tenant HIPAA-compliant data architecture
- Event-driven ingestion pipeline
- AWS Lambda and S3 data layer
- Data governance and catalogue
- Role-based access controls and KMS encryption

Phase 02
Turning raw operational data into procurement and supply chain decisions
Process Mining and Supply Chain Intelligence
With the data architecture in place, Ideas2IT integrated BusinessOptix for process mining and built the AI and ML layer that turns operational data into supply chain and procurement intelligence health system operators can actually act on.
- BusinessOptix integration performing process mining on data mart outputs to surface procurement inefficiencies and supply chain bottlenecks across the full procure-to-pay workflow
- Databricks ML models running recommendation engines and causal analysis on process-mined data to identify cost reduction and resource optimization opportunities
- Near real-time DOMO dashboard surfacing as-is and to-be process views for business teams, with no technical expertise required to operate
This phase produced
- BusinessOptix process mining integration
- Databricks ML model layer
- Recommendation engine and causal analysis
- Near real-time DOMO BI dashboard
- As-is and to-be process visualization
- Procure-to-pay workflow intelligence
Phase 03
Building a platform Arche Health could take to the US health system market
Modular Product and Go-to-Market Platform
The final layer was productization. Ideas2IT built the Arche Health App as a modular Master Data Model with a data warehouse at its core and wrapped it in a streamlined approval workflow and business rules engine that health system operators could run without engineering support.
- Modular Master Data Model connecting ERP, SCM, and HRM data sources into a single governed data warehouse
- Approval workflow and business rules engine with REST API endpoints for seamless integration with external health system platforms
- OpenSearch-powered analytics layer with Kibana and Grafana monitoring, deployed on AWS EKS and ECS Fargate with full Terraform infrastructure-as-code
This phase produced
- Arche Health App with modular MDM
- Data warehouse and data mart layer
- Approval workflow and business rules engine
- REST API integration endpoints
- OpenSearch analytics
- Kibana and Grafana observability
- Terraform infrastructure-as-code
The Ideas2IT team operated the way you'd want a core platform team to operate. They understood the community obligations and the production requirements, and they didn't treat those as separate problems.
The Outcome
Arche Health's supply chain intelligence platform runs on infrastructure Ideas2IT built from the ground up. The data architecture, the process mining layer, the AI and ML intelligence, and the HIPAA compliance framework holding it all together. Healthcare operators are sitting on data that could tell them exactly where their supply chain is leaking money. Ideas2IT built the platform that finally reads it.
