We’re tech-agnostic; we pick whatever works best for the situation at hand. However, there are some technologies that we’ve used repeatedly: Angular and React for front-end, Python, Node and Ruby for back-end, frameworks such as Bootstrap and Semantic for front-end and Loopback, Sails, Django for back-end. We’ve also done extensive work with AWS and have AWS-certified architects, and we love us some Docker for containerization.
Both. Our CEO is a Valley veteran, and has worked at Google, Cisco and Charles Schwab. We began working exclusively with startups (our name is a tribute to our roots; we started off literally helping startups turn ideas into IT reality), but have also partnered with enterprises such as Microsoft and Ericsson along the way, and our code powers some of their products to this day. The startups have helped us understand and work with cutting-edge tech, and the enterprises have helped us mature and scale fast.
We specialize in working closely with teams on core IP. We’ve worked on projects across industries such as Finance and Healthcare, where data privacy and IP protection are of utmost importance. Having worked for as long as we have with startups in the Valley, we’ve designed a custom Build-Operate-transfer model to facilitate frictionless deployment and knowledge transition, with IP intact.
Typically, our engineering teams work on a flexible Time and Material engagement model. You only pay for what you use, and the team can expand or contract depending on the way the project proceeds. Our onshore-offshore models ensure information isn’t lost between teams, and we follow a 75-25 Developer: QA ratio. The QA is responsible for System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing etc.
