From the whiteboard to the client’s production environment, as Delivery Head at Ideas2IT, you’ll own delivery end-to-end across AI, data, and engineering accounts:
Project Delivery & Execution
- Hold the bird’s-eye view across all active accounts: knowing where things stand before anyone has to escalate
- Review and sign off on project plans, monitor execution, and step in when teams need senior cover on escalations
- Ensure milestones, deliverables, effort, and cost stay on track; actually managed vs. just reported
- Build and execute risk management plans that catch problems early, before they can hit the client
- Own monthly and quarterly delivery metrics across accounts
AI/ML & Data Engineering Oversight
- Bring genuine technical depth in AI/ML and data engineering to delivery decisions; meaningfully engage with architects and engineers as well in addition to PMs
- Identify when a data pipeline design, model deployment plan, or infrastructure choice is likely to become a delivery risk, and course-correct early
- Ensure AI and data projects meet quality, governance, and performance standards before they reach the client
- Partner with practice leads in Data, AI, and Cloud to align delivery with the technical direction of each engagement
People Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and guide Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and project team members
- Drive project team engagement and motivation of the kind that shows up in ESAT scores and retention numbers
- Keep account-level attrition below threshold by staying close to the people doing the work
- Engage with practice leadership for each team member’s growth and allocation decisions
Customer Ownership
- Manage customer expectations with honesty and precision without surprises or over-promising
- Handle escalations directly when they arise and resolve them before they define the relationship
- Build strong, multi-stakeholder relationships with clients that go beyond the project sponsor
- Generate customer references and source positive testimonials consistently
Account Strategy, P&L & Growth
- Own the annual account strategy for your accounts: research, plan, present, get sign-off, execute
- Full P&L ownership
- Drive account mining: identify expansion opportunities, position relevant offerings, close growth
- Own fulfilment and staffing for new positions within your accounts
Must-haves:
- AI/ML and Data Engineering background: You’ve delivered AI or data engineering projects, and understand what good looks like technically, even if you’re not writing the code anymore
- 10-15 years in the IT industry, preferably IT services; 6–8 years in delivery, project execution, or account management
- Proven track record of end-to-end delivery ownership across multiple accounts simultaneously
- Strong customer relationship management: you’ve held senior client relationships and managed escalations without losing the account
- People leadership experience: you’ve managed, grown, and retained delivery teams
- P&L ownership experience” you know how to read a margin, manage utilization, and grow an account
Nice-to-haves:
- Domain knowledge in verticals including Healthcare, Pharma, or Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Understanding of ML workflows, data governance, and what good AI infrastructure looks like at scale
- Experience working in a product studio or innovation-driven engineering firm
- Delivery certifications like PMP
